Atletico Madrid are chasing Valencia's ex-Spanish international David Albelda. The midfielder is unwanted at Che and is considering a move. Canizares also was told by Koeman he had no future.
Spanish newspaper Marca revealed on Thursday that Atleticoâs bosses are going to approach Albelda.
David Albelda has fallen out of favour at Valencia with Ronald Koeman and is looking for a new club.
The Spanish defender cum midfielder has been linked with a move to the Premiership too but will instead prefer a move to another Spanish club.
