Pedro dismisses Chelsea move

13 July 2015 - 14:44

Barcelona winger Pedro has insisted that he has not held with talks with Chelsea regarding a summer move.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Recent reports revealed that the Spain international had been convinced to make a move to Stamford Bridge, following talks with manager Jose Mourinho and former teammate Cesc Fabregas.

Pedro has now revealed that he has not made any contact with Mourinho, but he could consider leaving the Catalan giants for a move elsewhere this summer.

"I did not talk to Mourinho. That would have been disrespectful to Barcelona. It is true that it was agreed to lower the buy-out clause and it is also true that there are offers." Pedro told reporters.

It is a difficult situation. You want more minutes, more options, to be at the forefront of things but things are getting more difficult for me."

Pedro currently has a release clause of just £22m in his contract.
