Liverpool are planning a move for Bayern Munich star Mario Gotze, The Telegraph reports.
The Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is expected to move in for a few more recruits during the transfer window, having recouped a £49m fee from the sale of Raheem Sterling to Manchester City over the past week.
The Telegraph cites that the Merseysiders will follow up the signing of Aston Villa's Christian Benteke, by making a big-money pursuit for World Cup winner Gotze.
Gotze has recently welcomed a move abroad, although coach Pep Guardiola dismissed thoughts of the player leaving the Bavarian outfit in the summer.
