The France international has turned into one of Europe's best midfielders following his move to the Old Lady from Manchester United in 2012.

London Evening Standard reports that Blues boss Jose Mourinho is eager to have the midfielder onboard before the transfer window shuts on September 1.

It is added that the Portuguese head coach is ready to pay a fee in excess of &pound60m to entice Juve into offloading their star asset.
