Liverpool flop Fabio Borini is closing in on a summer move to Inter Milan, according to reports.
The one-time Italy international has struggled to make his mark at Liverpool, and a move has been in the reckoning following the arrival of the likes of Danny Ings and Christian Benteke to Anfield this summer.
Sport Mediaset claims that the 24-year-old has told his friends that he is on the verge of sealing a return to Serie A with the Nerazzurri.
The reports adds that Liverpool are ready to accept a cut-price deal for the former Chelsea graduate, and a move could be completed in the next 48 hours.
Borini was Brendan Rodgers' first signing as Liverpool manager back in 2012.
