The 34-year-old is expected to seek a fresh challenge once his contract runs up at Les Parisiens next summer.

It had been recently rumoured that the talented marksman could seek a move to Major League Soccer before hanging up his boots.

However, ESPN claims that the experienced striker is keen on having his say in the Premier League, and could jump at the option of joining Chelsea at the end of the season.

Ibra has previously plyed his trade under manager Jose Mourinho at Inter Milan.
