Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the progress of Napoli forward Lozenzo Insigne ahead of the winter transfer window.

  • Arsenal defender misses training ahead of Man Utd game

  • The Italy international has been one of the stand out performers for the Serie A side this season, and this has caught the eye of top European clubs.

According to The Star, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keen on adding more pace to his flanks, and considers the 24-year-old as the perfect fit for his tactical setup.

Insigne is also known to have the potential to play as the lone striker and this could provide a boost to the Gunners as they head for the second half of the campaign.

The talented attacker has scored seven goals in Serie A this season.
