Alexis Sanchez wants Javier Hernandez at Arsenal

Chilean sensation Alexis Sanchez has reportedly asked manager Arsene Wenger to bring in Javier Hernandez during the winter transfer window. The Mexican international linked up with Bayer Leverkusen in the summer having been deemed surplus to requirements at Manchester United.

Hernandez has since then put up a great show in Germany, and has amassed an admirable tally of 19 goals in all competitions.

Spanish source Don Balon claims that the Gunners talisman is eager to see the former Manchester United striker at the Emirates next month.

It is added that the 26-year-old has revealed his opinion to Wenger, who expects to be busy in the transfer market.

Reports elsewhere reveal that the Gunners are close to sealing a &pound5m deal for Basel midfielder Mohamed Elneny.
