West Ham United are pondering over a summer offer for former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko. The Bosnian international joined AS Roma on an initial loan agreement last summer before making the move permanent shortly afterwards.
The 28-year-old has since then struggled to make any solid impact at Giallorossi and his dismal showing against Real Madrid in the Champions League is said to have frustrated the club's hierarchy.
A report from Brentwood Gazette reveals that the Hammers could make a summer swoop for the former Citizens as they seek to bring in a couple of marquee signings ahead of their move to the Olympic Stadium.
Dzeko is also said to be eyeing a fresh challenge away from Rome following the recent criticism towards his style of play.
West Ham are fifth in the league standings, just a point off the Champions League places.
