Portuguese winger Nani has been linked with a potential move back to Old Trafford this summer. The 29-year-old ended his eight-year association with United to join Turkish side Fenerbahce last year.

  • Nani fell out-of-favour under former United boss Louis van Gaal and was shipped out on loan to Sporting Lisbon during the 2014-15 season. He followed up to seal a permanent move to Fenerbahce last summer alongside fellow teammate Robin van Persie.

Turkish source Dogan News Agency says Jose Mourinho is eager to have the player back at Manchester after he became aware of the player's £6.3m release clause.

It is added that the club are considering the deal with Memphis Depay having failed to prove his credentials during his debut season in the top flight.

Nani racked 229 appearances for United between 2007 and 2015.
