Everton defender John Stones has told the club's hierarchy to cash in on his services amid strong interest from Manchester City. The centre-back is also a transfer target for Chelsea.

  • The 22-year-old had been the subject of numerous bids from Chelsea last year, but the Toffees stood firm in their bid to keep hold of their asset.

    Recent reports suggested that a similar trend could go on this summer with major shareholder Farhad Moshiri willing to keep hold of his main players ahead of the new campaign.

    However, according to The Express, Stones is fed up with his stay at Merseyside, and is likely to demand an exit in the current transfer window.

    Pep Guardiola's City are willing to pay as much as £50m for the England international, who had an average campaign in the league last season.

    While, Former suitors Chelsea have yet to revive their interest in Stones with coach Antonio Conte looking to recruit Leonardo Bonucci from Juventus.

    Stones has appeared in 122 games for the Toffees since his move from Barnsley in 2013.
