Man Utd seek creative midfield reinforcements

03 July 2016 - 09:46

New Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is scouring Europe to find attacking talent and Lyon star Nabil Fekir and Tottenham's Christian Eriksen are amongst the names being monitored. United have a rumoured £140 million budget to spend on new players.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game

  • Mourinho has suggested that players will be sold this summer to accommodate incoming transfers, with Antonio Valencia, Adnan Januzaj and Marouane Fellaini all having uncertain futures at Old Trafford.

French international Nabil Fekir is said to be favourite even with the expected arrival of Armenian international Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund; with Christian Eriksen of Spurs a close second.

Mourinho is ready to revamp his entire squad as he prepares to bring Man Utd back into the limelight after a few fruitless seasons in the Premier League.
