Turkish side Besiktas are prepared to lodge a temporary move for Liverpool flop Christian Benteke. The Reds have previously rebuffed a £30m offer from Crystal Palace for their striker.
Benteke, 25, is expected to pursue a fresh challenge this month after he was deemed surplus to requirements.
Lig TV says the Turkish champions will place a £3m loan fee for the player as they bid to strengthen their forward options ahead of the new season.
The Reds are looking to recoup the entire £32m sum paid to Aston Villa last year, and should this not be possible, they could accept a loan agreement for his services.
The Belgian international struggled to maintain a regular role last term with Jurgen Klopp favouring the likes of Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi ahead of him in the pecking order.
