Vicente Iborra to join Sunderland

30 August 2016 - 07:12

Sunderland manager David Moyes is on the verge of completing a move for Sevilla defensive midfielder Vicente Iborra. The 6 foot 3 Spaniard will arrive at the Stadium of Light in a 5.5 million euro deal.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd can finally sign Ederson for huge bargain fee

  • Iborra, 28, has played for Levante for over five years before completing a deal to join La Liga rivals Sevilla and has impressed since his arrival there. Iborra is a very versatile player and is equally confident playing as a defensive type midfielder and an offensive player; but prefers his usual holding role.

Iborra will pen a five year contract with the Black Cats.
