Agent : Ibrahimovic snubbed China move

30 September 2016 - 16:17

Zlatan Ibrahimovic snubbed multiple offers from the Chinese Super League to pursue his career with Manchester United. The Swede has fared well in the Premier League this season netting four goals in six outings.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • Ibrahimovic, 34, initially had thoughts of joining Napoli before their reluctance to sign him meant that he linked up with his second choice being the Red Devils.

Raiola, while speaking to reporters, suggested his client had received a £86m package from the Far East but he declined their approach in the bid to win more trophies with Manchester United.

"Ibrahimovic is the best. He turned down €100m (£84m) net from the Chinese! He doesn't want more money, he wants to win," he told Il Giornale.

The experienced marksman has made a bright start to his stint at Old Trafford, and there are suggestions he could extend his stay beyond the end of next season.
