Arsenal have been linked with a shock January transfer window bid for former midfield star Cesc Fabregas. Current team Chelsea are ready to sell the Spanish international who has quickly fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge.

According to several news reports from Spain, Fabregas has told friends that he dreams of one day returning to the Emirates to once again play for Arsenal. Arsene Wenger could allow Fabregas to realise his dream as rumours indicate the Gunners are to table a £20 million bid for the central midfielder.

Fabregas has also been tracked by some or Europe's top clubs; with Paris St German and Inter Milan interested in acquiring the creative midfielder.

Fabregas has two years remaining on his contract with the Blues.
