Spurs desperate to land Isco

08 October 2016 - 08:31

Tottenham Hotspur are eager to pursue the services of Real Madrid attacker Isco in the New Year. The Spain international was the subject of a loan approach from Spurs in the summer.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • According to Spanish source Marca, Spurs will revive their interest in the playmaker in the New Year with manager Mauricio Pochettino desperate to reinforce his midfield options.

Spurs came close to lifting the Premier League crown last term before they cooled off in the final games of the campaign, and this is something Pochettino wants to rectify by recruiting a creative midfielder to his ranks.

Isco, who is also a transfer target for Arsenal, is currently assessing his options with coach Zinedine Zidane reluctant to play him in his side.

The former Malaga man has appeared in over 150 outings for Real Madrid till date.
