Tottenham Hotspur are said to have joined Everton in the race to sign Manchester United outcast Memphis Depay. The Dutchman is deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.

  • Atletico Madrid planning shock move for Chelsea star

  • Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho has recently hinted that he would let both Memphis Depay and Morgan Schneiderlin leave in the January transfer window as they have no future under his management.

The Toffees have been credited with interest for the Red Devils duo over the past month, but according to The Liverpool Echo, they could face stiff competition for one of their targets from Spurs.

Mauricio Pochettino is keeping a close eye on the situation of Depay, and it is understood that his side could lodge an offer for the Dutchman in the winter transfer window.

Nice, Roma and Wolfsburg are also in the reckoning for the services of the former PSV star.
