West Ham identify Hart as future no.1

West Ham want Joe Hart next season

30 January 2017 - 06:04

West Ham United will look to beat the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea to the services to Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart. The England international is currently plying his trade for Torino for the season after he fell out-of-favour under City boss Pep Guardiola.

  • Hart, 29, is due to return to the Etihad in the summer, but his future could still remain bleak with Guardiola prepared to stick with Claudio Bravo despite his mixed performances this term.

The Hammers have utilised both Darren Randolph and Adrian as their number ones on separate occasions this season, but Slaven Bilic is expected to move in for a new shot-stopper, who could help the side progress further up the ladder.

According to reports, Hart has emerged as the top choice for the east London outfit, but the club will have to spend in excess of £20m in order to secure his signature this summer.

Hart has appeared in 20 league outings for Torino this season, keeping five clean sheets in the process.
