Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has admitted that he is pleased to be linked with a move to Manchester City but insists that he has held no talks over a potential transfer.
The German international has been recently tipped for a reunion with former Bayern boss Pep Guardiola, and it appears the World Cup winner would give it a thought.
"There was no contact and, as you know, I'm happy and satisfied here and I've just extended my contract, actually," he told reporters.
"I'm glad that there's speculation and talk about it. Pep still has my phone number but he hasn't called me, so everything is alright."
The former Schalke man has emerged as a potential candidate to take the number one role at the Etihad next season after Claudio Bravo was dropped following a string of average performances.
