Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that his side have begun talks with numerous players and agents as they look to bolster their squad in the summer transfer window.
The Reds are currently in the Spanish seaside at La Manga where they are having their mid-season training camp ahead of their league trip to Leicester City on February 27.
In a report on the Liverpool Echo, the German coach admits that he is pleased with the current crop of players but he may have to strengthen his squad further due to the pressure of multiple competitions.
"We are in talks with different people - players, agents, all that stuff," he told The Liverpool Echo. "Not a lot of decisions have been already made at this point. Why should they at this stage?
"But we are on the way. At the end, I'm sure we will have a really good squad. We already have a good squad and a few more good players will make it even better. "
Chelsea's Dominic Solanke was recently named as a potential target for Liverpool, but it appears that Klopp is not keen on adding the player, who is said to demand at least seven times his current £7,000 weekly salary.
