Perez wants Gunners exit

Not Sanchez, Arsenal forward eyeing summer exit

13 March 2017 - 06:34

Premier League giants Arsenal could find themselves busy in the summer market with both Alexis Sanchez and Lucas Perez likely to part ways with the club.

  • Everton make bid for Oleksandr Zinchenko
  • Fulham want to sign Liverpool left-back

  • Sanchez has turned down numerous attempts to extend his contract at the Emirates, and it is understood that he is weighing a move to a fresh club this summer.

However, the problem seems to not lie with only Sanchez with Perez - a summer recruit from Deportivo La Coruna, unhappy with his lack of playing time under Arsene Wenger.

Perez has appeared in just 21 games for the Gunners this term - just nine starts across all competitions. He has contributed seven goals and five assists with his limited gametime, but he is now prepared to move on to realise his dream of playing for Spain, Goal.com reports.

The Spanish footballer has the ambition of representing La Roja in next year's World Cup finals in Russia, and he is willing to switch clubs to improve his chances despite having yet to earn a maiden call-up.
