Manchester City are reportedly confident of securing the services of Danny Rose with Manchester United's Luke Shaw likely to join Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.
Rose, who is currently nursing a knee injury, has been a consistent performer for Spurs over the years, and this recently earned him a contract extension until the summer of 2021.
According to The Mirror, the Citizens are growing confident of signing the talented full-back with Spurs said to be considering a move for United outcast Luke Shaw.
Shaw has been restricted to regular first-team action under Jose Mourinho this term, and he is prepared to move on to a league rival in order to progress in his career which is still in its early stages.
United are also rumoured to be interested in Rose, who is likely to cost in excess of £50m - a fee which could make him the most expensive defender in world football.
