Premier League giants Arsenal have set their sights on signing Wilfred Ndidi, who has shone during his short period with Leicester City.
The Nigeria international had been heavily tipped to join the Gunners last summer but he opted to snub advances after the Foxes made the initial approach for his signature.
Ndidi completed his £15m move to the King Power Stadium during the winter transfer window, and he has since stabilized the club's midfield which in turn has improved the Foxes' form in recent weeks.
According to The Telegraph, the Foxes fear the loss of Ndidi in the summer despite the player still having five years on his current deal.
The former Genk star hit the headlines over the weekend after he belted a stunning effort from outside the box to score maiden Premier League goal against Stoke City.
Foxes boss Craig Shakespeare was recently questioned on the player's future at the King Power Stadium, but he was more than confident that the midfielder would stay for a long time.
