The Colombia international has had a frustrating spell with the European champions this term with manager Zinedine Zidane reluctant to offer him a regular start in the Spanish La Liga.

According to The Sun, the 25-year-old has made his mind up for a move to Old Trafford with his wife having already begun house hunting in Manchester.

It is added that Jose Mourinho is willing to match Los Blancos' valuation, and the deal is likely to go through when the transfer window reopens in July.

Rodriguez is said to want the 'number 10' on his arrival to United with skipper Wayne Rooney likely to vacate the position during the off-season.

Rooney has barely featured for his beloved club in recent months, and his exit looks to inch closer with former club Everton and a host of MLS and Chinese clubs in the running for his services.
