Everton boss Ronald Koeman has set his sights on a move for West Ham United attacker Manuel Lanzini this summer.
The Argentine has been a key performer for the east London outfit since his arrival from Emirati side Al Jazira in 2015 - initially on a short-term loan.
According to The Birmingham Mail, Koeman could lodge a potential bid for Lanzini this summer amid the uncertainty over the situation of Ross Barkley.
Barkley has evidently refused to extend his contract beyond 2018, and the Toffees are seemingly mulling over his sale in the coming transfer window.
Lanzini has become the main man at the London stadium following Dimitri Payet's departure to Marseille last winter, and the Hammers are unlikely to part ways with their playmaker at any price.
Meanwhile, Swansea City's Gylfi Sigurdsson is also a transfer option for the Toffees manager after having failed with an approach for his signature during the last summer transfer window.
Everton are due to make quick signings in the summer with their Europa League campaign set to kick off as early as July.
