Drogba may stay at Chelsea

05 February 2008 - 16:57

Following interest from Barcelona and AC Milan in signing Didier Drogba from Chelsea, the Ivory Coast striker has admitted that he may be staying at Stamford Bridge next season for the first time. Drogba admitted to France Football earlier in the season that he may be looking for a move away from Chelsea.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • Drogba quipped: "The important thing is that my performances on the field have remained the same, or maybe even got better.

"What counts is giving 100 per cent in a Chelsea shirt. Today, working in a good atmosphere with a common goal is fantastic.

"Winning the UEFA Champions League and Premier League - these are the types of challenges that I love and I am happy."
