Hodgson has hopes for Fulham

Hodgson has hopes for Fulham

09 February 2008 - 23:59

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson praised his side for the way they played against Middlesbrough. Jeremie Aliadiere got the goal that gifted Boro victory, and Hodgson admitted that his side put in the kind of performance that he wants to see.

  • Chelsea ready to pay €75m for Eduardo Camavinga
  • Chelsea planning move for Strasbourg striker Joaquin Panichelli

  • "It was a very gritty performance even though we went a goal down early.

"Our passing was good especially in the second half.

"We had longs periods of domination and if we had got a point nobody could have said that we stole a point.

"It was difficult to break them down because they did not come out at us because they did not need to because they were a goal up."
