Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger wants to sign PSG winger Julian Draxler, but only if the French club is able to agree on a deal for Kylian Mbappe. The German international has been linked with a move to North London for over three years.
Arsene Wenger is a long-term admirer of Draxler and has reportedly made an offer of £55 million for the German international and is confident a deal will be agreed before the transfer window closes.
Draxler, who arrived at PSG from Wolfsburg in January, could make a move to Arsenal on a loan deal initially with a view to a permanent move. With PSG having signed Neymar already, Draxler's first-team opportunities this season are likely to be limited.
Arsenal will sell Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Chelsea and Alexis Sanchez to Man City, but are expected to bring in Riyad Mahrez as a replacement. Draxler would be a major coup for the Gunners should the 23-year-old decide to make a move to the struggling Premier League side.
