Arsenal are reportedly prepared to sanction the exits of Granit Xhaka and Shkodran Mustafi as part of their summer overhaul which involves the departure of manager Arsene Wenger.
Earlier yesterday, Wenger confirmed that he will end his two-decade long tenuer with the Gunners and his exit is expected to coincide with multiple changes around the squad.
According to The Mirror, the north London side are considering the sales of Xhaka and Mustafi during the summer and the pair may be replaced by younger English talents.
Norwich City's James Maddison and Fulham's Ryan Fredericks have been identified as possible replacements, though they have featured in different areas of the pitch.
Meanwhile, the club are also looking into a move for Leicester City's Wilfried Ndidi after missing out on his services during the 2017 January transfer window.
Arsenal face West Ham United in the Premier League on Sunday and Wenger is expected to name a strong lineup in preparation for the midweek European tie against Atletico Madrid.
