Uruguay international Luis Suarez could make a surprise return to Liverpool this summer with Barcelona keen on pursuing a potential replacement.
According to Don Balon, the Catalan giants are aiming to strengthen their attack ahead of next term and they are prepared to pay up a fee of around £100m to sign Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid.
It is added that the club require to free up funds for the Frenchman's arrival and this could witness the departure of Suarez with Liverpool supposedly keen on re-signing him.
Liverpool are yet to find a replacement for Philippe Coutinho who left for the Camp Nou outfit in January but it will be interesting to see whether they can get a deal over the line for Suarez, who primarily features upfront.
Suarez netted 82 times in 133 appearances for Liverpool before sealing a move to Spain in the summer of 2014. He has since notched 110 goals for Barcelona across all competitions.
