Daniel Sturridge set for Liverpool exit?

19 June 2018 - 11:26

England international Daniel Sturridge could finally end his association with Liverpool amid interest from the likes of Sevilla and Fenerbahce.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The 28-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield in recent years and he is presently behind the likes of Roberto Firmino, Danny Ings and Dominic Solanke in the pecking order.

As a result, he appears more likely to leave the club as he approaches the final year of his contract and according to The Telegraph, Sevilla and Fenerbahce are keen on acquiring his services.

Sturridge had been rated as one of England's most promising strikers four years ago but stock has since gone down with the Reds said to demand around £15m for his summer exit.

The Englishman spent the second half of the previous campaign on loan with West Bromwich Albion but he could not make much of an impact after another hamstring injury.

Sturridge managed just two league starts during his injury-plagued spell with the Baggies and his showing was not sufficient to help the club beat the drop.
