Mourinho reveals how many players he would add to his squad

24 July 2018 - 11:06

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has said that he would like to add two more players to the United squad ahead of the new season.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • Speaking to ESPN FC on his transfer wishes, the former Chelsea boss implied that what he wants from the market could be different from what he would get.

Manchester Evening News reports that he was asked by ESPN FC how many more players he would like and he said the following: “I would get two more players.”

Recently, United have been linked with Leicester City defender Harry Maguire and Croatian attackers Ivan Perisic and Ante Rebic. United have also been linked with a move for AC Milan defender Leonardo Bonucci.

With Martial reportedly on his way out of Old Trafford, and reports of United's transfer moves, it is safe to say that the two areas the Manchester side will strengthen are the central defence and the left wing of the attack.

Jose Mourinho's side have already completed the signing of Diogo Dalot, Fred, and goalkeeper Lee Grant.
