  • Arsenal linked with new shotstopper as backup to Raya

  • "In Nigeria, when we play for the national team, we do not fear anybody - they are just men," he told the Portsmouth News.

"That is the way football is supposed to be. If you go to Old Trafford afraid and expecting to lose 4-0, there is no need to travel.

"But this team does not fear anybody - even if we were playing against Brazil, Argentina or whoever. They are all just names.

"Of course Manchester United have quality players, but when they are on the field, they are on the field. There is no pressure." Kanu is set to start up front alongside Milan Baros as fellow January signing Jermain Defoe is cup-tied. Portuguese midfielder Pedro Mendes is also available after missing the last five weeks following ankle surgery.
