Suarez: Pogba would be welcome at Barcelona

05 September 2018 - 06:27

Barcelona attacker Luis Suarez has said that Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba would be welcome at Barcelona.

  • Gary Neville breaks silence on Ruben Amorim
  • Confirmed Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Brentford, Estevao absent

  • The former Liverpool man is saying this days after teammate Gerard Pique revealed that he would love to have the Frenchman at the Nou Camp.

"He's not a player that belongs to Barca, but he would always be welcome," Suarez said of the former Juventus man, speaking to RAC1.

The Uruguayan also praised Pogba, describing him as a player with a lot of quality.

After starring at the World Cup and winning it for France, Pogba has been linked with a move to Barcelona, with the Catalan side reportedly making a cash-plus-player offer that was quickly rejected by United.

Recent reports indicate that Pogba wants a January move away from United, with the former Juventus man in favour of a move to Real Madrid.

Pogba has been a regular feature for Jose Mourinho's team this season, appearing in all United's opening Premier League games.
