Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi has said that he is hoping to be with the Gunners for a long time to come, in addition to winning trophies.
Arsenal signed the Frenchman from Ligue 2 side Lorient during the last transfer window, and since then, has been a regular for Unai Emery's side, featuring in all of the Gunners' opening Premier League fixtures this season.
Speaking of his ambitions at Arsenal, he said, Ouest-France reports: "I hope it will last a long time, that I will progress, make a great career and win trophies with this club."
Guendouzi went ahead to add that he will do everything to make it to the French national squad after their World Cup triumph in Russia. He has represented France at youth level.
If Guendouzi can improve his game with Arsenal, it won't be long before he is called up to play for Didier Deschamps' side. He is expected to feature when the Gunners face Newcastle United after the international break.
