Inter Milan have reportedly joined cross-town rivals AC Milan in the race to sign Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas.
Fabregas has been with the west London giants since the summer of 2014 and he managed 49 appearances for the club across all competitions last term.
However, he has made just one substitute appearance in the Community Shefield this season owing to a minor knee problem and his future is said to be remain unclear under new Blues boss Maurizio Sarri.
According to The Express, the Nerazzurri are potentially planning to make an approach for the former Barcelona man, who is also on the radar of fierce rivals Milan.
Fabregas presently has just 10 months left on his Blues deal and as things stand, both clubs are permitted to discuss a pre-contract with him when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.
The former La Masia graduate has racked 180 appearances during his time at Stamford Bridge, winning two Premier League titles, one FA Cup and one League Cup in the process.
