Jose Mourinho blamed Paul Pogba after Wolves draw

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is understood to have slammed Paul Pogba's performance in the aftermath of the club's 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Arsenal handed huge boost ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • Pogba provided the assist for the opening goal of the game scored by summer signing Fred but he was thereafter guilty of making a costly error which contributed to the Joao Moutinho's netting a stunning equaliser with his left foot.

According to The Sun, Mourinho was far from pleased with the performance of the World Cup winner and he decided to reprimand the Frenchman in the dressing room shortly after the stalemate.

The relationship between Pogba and Mourinho is said to have reached a low since the turn of the year and the midfielder has not done much to improve it after he appeared to blame the manager's tactics for the draw.

In the post-match interview, Pogba indicated that the team should have continued attacking rather than taking up a defensive mindset and this is sure to flare up more tensions between him and the manager.
