Liam Rosenior eyes England call up

13 March 2008 - 22:19

Reading defender Liam Rosenior is eyeing his first full England international cap. Fabio Capello has been watching Reading in recent weeks and many believe Rosenior is in line for a call up. Rosenior pointed to the success of Micah Richards and hoped to join him in the international squad.

  • Man Utd star preparing farewell video ahead of transfer
  • Confirmed Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Atletico Madrid, Lewis-Skelly starts
  • “I look at Curtis Davies and Micah Richards, who I played with in the under-21s, and Nicky Shorey has also got in the England squad because of his performances at club level,” Rosenior said on the club’s website.

“I was unable to do that because I wasn’t playing, but I have always been confident in my ability and confident that if I got a chance I would make an impact.”
