After the defeat at the weekend to relegation rivals Wigan, Bolton Wanderers' captain Kevin Nolan called on their fans to show more support to the team to help them battle to safety. A disappointing first half saw the side booed off but Nolan has confessed he is worried of Bolton's potential plight.
"On that evidence we are (staying in the bottom three)," Nolan told the club's official website. "He's only speaking the truth.
"We were rightly booed off by our fans. It's always disappointing to see that and to see the anger in their faces. We are hurting as much as them.
"As club captain I ask them to please stay with us. We do need them, especially in our hour of need.
"We'll get together and make sure we go on from here. We have got nine games to go to get ourselves out of this."
