Cesc: Arsenal for life

Cesc: Arsenal for life

17 March 2008 - 23:12

Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has admitted he could stay at the club for life. Although Fabregas recently hinted he could move back to his homeland Spain at some stage of his career, it appears he is more than happy to finish his career at the Gunners.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • "I'm only 20 and feel I'm improving every season in every aspect of my game," he told Setanta Sports.

"Apart from that, I'm playing always against the best teams in the country and Europe and that should be enough for me to keep learning in every single game.

"Maybe I'm more calm in front of goal [this season] but sometimes I still miss chances I should never miss but it's football and I have to learn.

"I'm very happy here and proud of what the team is doing. I've got a coach I can learn a lot of things from, he believes in me and the fans are always fantastic to me.

"I can't complain about anything. For me, life is good now but I'm still a winner and I want to keep improving and winning things for the club.

"If they want me here for life and I feel happy then, definitely, why not? Someone says he wants to come back to Spain and some people speak about Barcelona and Real Madrid like they are the best thing that can ever happen.

"But here, inside the club, it's a family and the fans, for me, are the best.

"If I can keep going like this until the end of my career, I will be more than happy to stay here."
