Predicted Manchester United lineup (4-3-3) to face Liverpool, Rashford and Mata start

Manchester United entertain fierce rivals Liverpool in this weekend's Premier League meeting at Old Trafford.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • The Red Devils face a must-win situation to maintain their fourth position in the standings but the game is equally important for the Reds, who can leapfrog Manchester City to the top of the standings with the minimum of a draw.

    Formation: 4-3-3

    Predicted Lineup:

David de Gea sat out the FA Cup fifth round meeting against Chelsea but he is expected to return between the sticks for the weekend game against Jurgen Klopp's side.

In the defence, Ashley Young and Luke Shaw should retain their positions on the right and left side of the backline but Ole may opt for a change in the central defensive department with Eric Bailly partnering Victor Lindelof.

In the midfield, the Red Devils should remain unchanged from recent matches with Nemanja Matic and Ander Herrera assuming the holding roles while Paul Pogba should feature in an advanced position ahead of them.

In the frontline, Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard are likely to return from injury comebacks, although neither may start from the off unless they are upto near full fitness.

As such, Ole could stick with the combination from the FA Cup which impressed against the Blues. Marcus Rashford and Juan Mata should feature on the left and right wing respectively with Romelu Lukaku starting upfront.
