Former Manchester United star Patrice Evra has said that Paul Pogba could part ways with the Red Devils this summer amid the recent criticism towards his performances.
The France international has enjoyed a decent-to-good season with the Red Devils but he has nonetheless come for stick from a section of the club's fanbase.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Evra said that Pogba may not appreciate the recent incident at Old Trafford, where he was the subject of abuse from a small section of supporters.
He added that could trigger the midfielder's departure from the Red Devils, considering he needs the affection from the supporters to stay committed.
"It's not like I am protecting Paul, but when there are incidents like yesterday (Sunday) with the fan, they are killing Paul. I think he will leave because you need to feel the love when you play somewhere, you need to be committed," he said.
Pogba was one of the standout performers under the management of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer earlier in the year but his performances drastically dipped during the final months as United missed out on the top four.
