Manchester City and Manchester United are reportedly both willing to pay a fee of around £65m to secure the signature of Harry Maguire from Leicester City.
The England international has been heavily linked with a move away from the King Power Stadium and of late, it has been reported that he favours a move to the Citizens.
According to Sky Sports News, both United and City are prepared to pay around £65m for the 26-year-old, who only penned a new long-term deal with the Foxes last year.
However, it is added that the bids are likely to be knocked back by the Foxes, considering they want at least £80m to part ways with the former Sheffield United graduate.
United are currently on the hunt for a new defensive partner for Victor Lindelof at the heart of the backline following a disappointing league season where they finished sixth on the table.
City, on the other hand, are aiming to find a replacement for Vincent Kompany, who left the club on a free transfer to rejoin Anderlecht as a player-manager.
