Real Madrid are reportedly confident of securing the signature of Paul Pogba from Manchester United before the beginning of their pre-season friendlies.
The Frenchman recently suggested that he could secure a new challenge away from Old Trafford, and reports have since linked him with a move to Zinedine Zidane's side.
According to OK Diario, Pogba is determined to seal a move to the Bernabeu ahead of the 2019/2020 season and Los Blancos are likewise confident of reaching a transfer agreement.
The same publication claims that Los Blancos would prefer the midfielder to join the squad for the pre-season training camp in Montreal in preparation for the friendlies thereafter.
United are currently demanding a package of around £150m for Pogba but Los Blancos are optimistic of reducing the fee by offering one of Isco or Gareth Bale in a player-plus-cash deal.
Pogba has yet to report for pre-season training with the Red Devils but The Star has recently claimed that he will be part of the club's pre-season tour of Australia and the Far East.
