Wenger unhappy at Hleb meeting

23 March 2008 - 18:37

Arsene Wenger has admitted that he was unhappy with Alexander Hleb after the Belarussian and his agent met representatives of Inter Milan when Arsenal visited Italy for the match with AC Milan in the Champions League.

  • Liam Rosenior on Enzo Fernandez's Chelsea future
  • Man Utd without four players for Bournemouth clash
  • "I was concerned and I didn't like that it happened," said Wenger at his press conference on Friday. "If the agent came to the team hotel then he should have asked me for permission to see the players. You cannot just see the players like that.

"All the rest we will keep secret. But Italy is well known for having good ice cream!"
