Drogba: not over for Arsenal

24 March 2008 - 10:25

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has not yet ruled Arsenal out of the race for the Premiership title despite the Gunners falling 6 points behind league leaders Manchester United as Chelsea beat them 2-1 at Stamford Bridge thanks to two goals from the Ivorian.

  • Liam Rosenior on Enzo Fernandez's Chelsea future
  • Man Utd without four players for Bournemouth clash
  • “This result has given us belief that we are in the race with United,” said Drogba.

“This was a difficult game for us and although Arsenal are not dead yet, I’m not sure what the result will do to their confidence.”

On Chelsea's hopes after his brace sealed the victory yesterday: “We have to believe that we can go on and win the title.”
