Manchester United star desperate to work under Zinedine Zidane

Paul Pogba is reportedly eager to seal the move to Real Madrid because he is keen on working under the guidance of Zinedine Zidane.

  • The Frenchman has been with the Red Devils for the past three seasons but he has recently presented the notion that he could consider a fresh challenge away from the club.

In response, United have placed a £170m price tag to sway away any potential interest but The Mirror claims the midfielder still harbours the ambition of working under Zidane.

The same publication suggests that the Frenchman is prepared to wait for the Red Devils to sanction his sale to the Spanish giants, though the prospect of that happening this summer appears unlikely at the moment.

Los Blancos are currently not in a position to spend a club-record sum on Pogba, given they have spent more than £225m for the purchases of five players including Eden Hazard.

Real Madrid are presently looking at the option of offloading five players including Gareth Bale, Lucas Vazquez and Isco, and the club can only afford Pogba thereafter.
