Pjanic on United radar

Manchester United tracking Juventus midfielder?

13 October 2019 - 20:23

Manchester United are reportedly monitoring the proceedings of Juventus' Miralem Pjanic as they aim to strengthen their options in the centre of the park.

  • Chelsea quoted price to sign Igor Thiago
  • Chelsea make Joao Pedro transfer decision
  • The 29-year-old has been an influential figure at the Bianconeri since arriving from Roma in 2016, and he has made nearly 150 appearances while winning the league title for three straight seasons.

Pjanic has started the current campaign with two goals and two assists from seven Serie A games and he has remained a regular from the starting XI for the club despite the summer arrivals.

According to Calciomercato, the Turin giants are keen to reward the midfielder's form with another long-term deal but United are still keeping a close eye as they seek to swoop for the player's services.

The Red Devils have parted ways with both Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera this year, and this has left them short of quality options with the likes of Nemanja Matic and Fred struggling to impress.
