Arsenal manager Unai Emery has reportedly been offered with a month to save his job following the 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend.

  • Chelsea ready new contract for star midfielder
  • Chelsea make first move to sign Xabi Alonso
  • The north London giants have been disappointing since their return from the international break and they have registered just two points from three Premier League games.

As a result, there has already been the speculation that the club are eyeing a suitable successor and The Mirror claims Emery has been offered with a one-month period to turn the club's fortunes around.

A recent report from The Times claimed that Gunners head of football had dined with Jose Mourinho earlier in the week and the Portuguese could take over the managerial reigns in the near future.

However, the Capital outfit have clarified that is clearly not the case and Emery's job remains secure despite the recent struggles for the club in the Premier League.

Aside from Jose Mourinho, the likes of Max Allegri, Patrick Vieira and Mikel Arteta have been linked with the Gunners amid the reported uncertainty surrounding Emery's future.
